I had to have my big toenail removed and Dr. Koran and his staff were extremely friendly and empathetic. Everyone from the front desk to the assistants, nurses and doctor were all highly skilled at their jobs, you can tell these people actually care. My procedure was super fast, I had to come back to get my gauze removed and it was almost painless and also didn’t take long at all. I am grateful for Dr. Koran and his staff and highly recommend them. Update: I have weird toes so the toenail grows weird and today 9/3/2026, I came in with pain from the toe being ingrown. I saw Dr. Baxter today and she was the sweetest and handled me with care. She made sure my toe was numb and continuously checked on me during the procedure even though it was short. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Korab and Preferred Foot & Ankle specialists! Dr. Korab is obviously very talented as a surgeon, but also just a really nice guy who actually cares. The whole staff is amazing! They answered all my questions and all my texts about every little thing! My one week post-op appointment shows, through x-ray, how well the surgery worked! I appreciated the good care I received at Preferred today.  Sarah was good to put me on the schedule today.  Allie was kind and competent. I have bad bunions on both feet, but my left was worse. I went to Preferred Foot & Ankle Specialists and felt very welcomed as soon I was at the registration desk. I had X-rays done and I had arthritis in my big toe and definitely wanted the painful bunion gone. I had the surgery and was given a nerve block shot in my leg so for almost 3 days afterwards, I felt nothing (which was amazing). It was hard staying in bed icing and elevating your foot. My follow-up appointment went well, stitches out and in 4 weeks I was in the surgery boot. You have to adjust to many different things so don't think things will be the same, but they're not bad at all. I started seeing Dr. Korab after my doctor left the office. My prior doctor was great, but no one can be compared to Dr. Korab. He is so kind, personable, very informative, and will answer any questions you may have. A doctor you have been searching for years to treat your feet, and to meet as well. My toe took a little longer to fuse together, but not by much, however the office ordered me a machine, that was covered by my insurance, that was to help speed up the healing a little bit faster. The boot wasn't fun, let's face it, but I bought a knee scooter which was a life-saver! This may sound strange, but I enjoy going to see the office employees and Dr. Korab because I know I'm going to be treated so well and also helped with whatever is needed (relief/concerns). I am so glad I found this office because it's life-changing with foot/feet issues. I'm actually planning to have my other bunion removed at the beginning of next year and I have nothing to be worried about, or feel nervous, because I know I'm in the best hands around. Went in today- Alli and Sara were amazing!! They were funny, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my questions going in. Alli gave me a cast on my foot and she was amazing at that. 10/10 for the office girls. Dr. Korab who I saw was extremely supportive and caring as well. 10/10 for this office. I can’t wait to continue my care with this office.
